Overview
Say It Travel (sayit.travel) is a free travel phrase reference app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Precise location data
- User accounts or authentication data
- Payment information
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The app saves your language preferences (source language and destination language) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for
sayit.travel.
Clipboard Access
When you tap a phrase, the app may request access to your device's clipboard in order to copy the phrase text. No clipboard content is read, stored, or transmitted — the copy action is performed locally in your browser.
Analytics
We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used and to improve it:
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. GA4 collects data including approximate IP-derived location, device type, browser, operating system, pages visited, session duration, and interaction events. This data is processed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Google may also process this data under its Data Processing Terms.
GA4 uses cookies and similar storage mechanisms to distinguish users and sessions. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, Google acts as a data processor and the data may be transferred to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Plausible Analytics
We also use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites or devices. All data is aggregated and anonymous. See Plausible's Privacy Policy for details.
Third-Party Infrastructure
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may log standard server access data (IP address, request path, timestamp) for infrastructure and security purposes, subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Your Rights (EEA, UK, and California Residents)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have rights regarding your personal data under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data held about you.
Because we do not collect personal data directly, most data rights requests should be directed to Google (for GA4 data) using Google's Data & Privacy controls. For any other inquiries, contact us at hello@sayit.travel.
Children's Privacy
Say It Travel does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The app contains only travel phrase content and collects no user data, making it safe for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the revised date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
